The Living Kitchen Studio
Welcome to the Living Kitchen Studio, a new experiment in the Brooklyn food landscape. A unique gathering place for culinary focused events and production, the studio pairs the charm and intimacy of home with the freedom and flexibility of a raw space.
Set in a beautifully-renovated 20th century home, the Studio is located on the border of the Bed Stuy and Bushwick neighborhoods, just 20 minutes from Manhattan. The 800 square foot interior space is filled with light and charm, and the 800 square foot private backyard features a bountiful edible garden.
The Studio is run by chef and food stylist Micah Fredman. Micah trained at Gramercy Tavern and Eleven Madison Park before setting off to travel the world, staging at world-renowned restaurants and apprenticing with grandmothers.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything that a professional chef or stylist could ask for, and designed for maximum efficiency, fluidity, and ease. An ever growing prop library offers surfaces, linens, plates, dishware, and more. The studio is located in extremely close proximity to several food markets, specialty stores, butchers, and home goods shops.
